3rd Grade News
Our Mission
Ridgeline Academy exists to foster critical thinking among students, promote academic excellence and instill a culture of life-long learning.
Our Values
Ridgeline Academy provides families with a community school culture and small class sizes with an enriched Core Knowledge curriculum and high academic expectations in a respect-based learning environment supported by character-based education. Our values are grounded in the belief that students are literate in all subjects; are independent and critical thinkers; and are life-long learners and achievers.
ALL Ridgeline students must come prepared to school each day with a student agenda. Be sure you are checking and signing the agenda as well as the DAL each and every night!
A big change from second to third grade, is letter grades. You child will now be assigned letter grades based on percentages earned. Grades are based on quality of work they do. Daily work, homework, projects, journals, tests, quizzes, participation, papers, and group work are several ways your student will be assessed and assigned a grade.
TRUANCY PROGRAM: To encourage and improve school attendance, Ridgeline Academy has implemented a truancy program in partnership with Maricopa County Juvenile Court.
